Mamadou Traore (also known as “Bamoye”)
Background: Bamoye is born in 1988 and is 22 years old. He is from Djenne and lives in Mopti, quartier Tonguel, with his family. His father has died.
Religion is Moslim. Tribe is Songhoi.
Bamoye speaks Songhoi, Bambara, Peul and French.
He finished primary school and started in 7th year but had to stop because of his age (he should be too old at the time of exam). In 2006 he started with repairing televisions and electronical equipment. He was learning and did not get payed. Baba informed him about the windmill course and he was interested and wanted to join.
The way of learning in this course is different because the importance of the work is shown.
Bamoye likes to learn to improve the work. In future he likes to teach other people, he likes to train others on windmills.
Bamoye likes footbal, music and travelling. He does not like persons who are not thinking good about someone. He likes to see everybody happy.
Personal development plan: Wood department. Bamoye started with this, but he has also keen interest in electricity and really likes to learn all.
