In the first weeks that ‘I Love Windpower’ operated in Tanzania, most of the time was needed to write project proposals, update the business plan, find customers and communicate to all stakeholders with a new website. Funding approval is now on such a level, that raw building material can be bought and salaries can be paid. See some pictures which give a nice impression about the activities.
We expect to finish this first proto-type wind turbine by the end of this week. That will give us two weeks time for extensive testing, to be just in-time for a demonstration at the Nane-Nane fiartrade in Dodoma. Demonstrating the turbine is very important, because potential customers really like to see what kind of product they would be buying.
